    Who ever is a reporter for rockets and comes on this website can u ask for a deadline or a set date the rockets have to hire a coach? Because this is kinda getting annoying coming and refreshing CF and Twitter constantly. Just ask them for a deadline

    Tillman will hire Yao Ming as Coach, so China will like us again. Yao will not get paid because he has more money than Tillman.

    I know we as fans would want to pick a coach soon bc I want to know like yesterday. But what benefit is that to the team? They don't have any picks so little scouting and nothing really going on. Just curious and legitimately asking

    So the reason to rush is? I am not a tilman supporter and think his unwillingness to sign mles has led to teams downfall. This is not to support him just curious as to why everyone wants this done asap

    this is my first time on clutchfans in years, so apologies if what i'm about to say has already been discussed, but here is what i'm hearing in the coaching search

    jvg - tillman and jvg's kids went to school together so they go way back, they're tight
    john lucas - the players love him and want him to be coach, however tillman presented him a lowball offer and lucas declined
    cassell - tillman dislikes him
    silas - a name thrown out there for funsies, no real traction

    If the season is going to start in December then FA and training camp are around the corner.

    It would be nice to have a staff set.

    They've had plenty of time, season possibly may start Christmas day. Need to get coach in with assistants to implement new or changes in offense and defense. That's a basic answer on why this is a complete Tilf*ck sh*t show.

    If by all reports the season will start by Christmas which is now less then two months away and the training camp will probably start 4 weeks prior to the season starting then we need a coach soon
