Certainly a good thing and Trump and Kushner deserve credit for it. I doubt it changes much in the election though.
Not really. The election is the most important thing happening now for the Presidency and the behind COVD-19 the second most important thing the country is facing.
Hmmm, what's the motivation here? Sudan is one of the poorest countries in the world, according to Un Development report 2000. Most of the population live under hard conditions. One of the Sahel countries, Sudan is located in the Sahara desert. Hard climate conditions and political instability were always responsible for the poor life conditions. Que up Sam Kinison:
NPR @NPR President Trump said the U.S. would remove Sudan from the state sponsors of terrorism list and help the country with billions in international debt as part of the deal to normalize relations between Sudan and Israel. Funny it should come this week
I'm for normalized relations that will reduce tensions, but not for normalizing Israeli expansion into disputed territory. How do you reconcile that?
Happy to give Trump the credit on this. I don't think these are the sorts of deals a Democratic president would have pursued. And it isn't really the sort of peace I want. I'd like to see an end to the oppression of Palestinians, and all this does is increase their isolation. But, it isn't necessarily bad. I think its a landscape Biden can work with, and the previous state of play wasn't producing a solution. Maybe they can find one now.
You don't, because all of Israel is "disputed territory". If you look to the glynchs of the world, they would like to see Israel disappear from the map. So either you are on the side of democracy and Western values (Israel), or you are on the side of Islamists and extreme leftists (and anti-semites). Well done Jared.
He is desperate to show ANY success. You notice the REAL threats to Middle East peace are not having any of it: Syria, Iran, Palestinians, Lebannon, Iraq, etc.
No, there are more than two sides to this issue, and I'm not for any side that is committed to ultra-nationalism or religious zealotry. The parameters of a fair solution have been widely agreed upon, and they have never included either side stealing land from the other by force.
