    Watched #Alive on Netflix: 5.5/10

Korean Zombie movie. Started off great and thought it was going to be a unique take on the zombie apocalypse genre but it fell off starting from the middle of the movie. Cliche city after that.

    The Unicorn Series: 7.5/10

It's a lot better than what the wife and I were expecting. I have never seen Walton Goggins(Boyd Crowder on Justified) play a role other than a bad guy.

That sounds interesting, I have been watching air warriors on the Smithsonian channel, they don't go far enough into the designing and making of the planes for me.

I couldn't get into it and I tried for a whole season. Tracy Morgan just puts me off.

I can definitely see that. I have friends that absolutely hate him and his acting/comedic style- he can be too much at times. Me though, Ive loved Tracy Morgan since the Martin days as Hustle Man, so I find him hilarious.

Walton Goggins is in it? He was terrific in Justified. Justified is a good example of a series that had an odd beginning that gave no hint of what it would become based on the pilot. We loved that show. We're fans of pretty much anything Timothy Oliphant is in. Films like Go, The Girl Next Door, the underrated Catch and Release, Deadwood, and certainly the series Justified. If anyone out there hasn't seen Justified, they should. We became fans of Walton Goggins because of it, so I'll check out The Unicorn. Thanks for the tip!

Walton Goggins is pretty good in this.

He literally and figuratively swims in poossie which is hilarious.

Finished the series finale for The Good Place. They really tied a bow on it. Last couple episodes were really sad (in a good way).

    Queen's Gambit - (7 episodes)
    Grade: A

An orphan on a quest to be the best chess player.

A period piece set around the 50's 60's. I adored the film. Good acting and film based around different completions had a good deal of suspense.

Personally speaking, my top movie/limited tv series this year. Recommend.

The Trial of the Chicago 7.

Fantastic film. Another great script by Aaron Sorkin.

    Barbarians -Netflix.

    Grade B-

Pretty binge-able. Decent to mediocre acting but good overall story and set pieces. In German, subtitled.

Lovecraft country. What in God's name is this show? But I keep watching the 1 hour episodes. 4 episodes in, the sci fi is all over the place and I have no clue where it's going. Jessica Merriweather is great tho, a couple of sex scenes. Go east Dillon lions!

Was also about to recommend this show. By far one of the best series I have seen this year. She is incredible in her role... kinda reminds me of a young Ruth Wilson (Alice on Luther).

Another very good recommendation. Great performances... clever script. I only vaguely recall what happened so a good and timely history lesson.

There's absolutely a return character now

Loy Cannon's son is being cared for by Rabbi Milligan.

When the Faddas asked for help from NY, they just in passing introduced Joe Bulo, from New York. Joe Bulo is the heavy from season 2 (also the brother from Everybody Loves Raymond) who...wait for it...Mike Milligan (Bokeem Woodbine, a fantastic role that he should have received awards for) works for.

Loy Cannon's son adopts Milligan's name and goes to work for the East Coast Syndicate
