Funny thing is. In my opinion this isn’t even BOBs worst trade. He might have made the 3 worst trades in nfl history. 1. Clowney for nothing. Considering how bad our run defense is on the edge and how we are worst team in nfl against the run. We really could use him, instead we have Jacob Martin and nothing else. Great trade BOB. We even coulda signed him at a discount considering how this offseason went. 2. Laremy Tunsil.. If we end up getting the number 1 overall pick this trade will go down as the worst in history. 2 first and a second and somehow Deshaun is getting sacked at a record pace.
Saints traded all their draft picks for Ricky Williams back in the day. And announced they'd do so before the draft, losing all leverage they might have had in moving up from 12 to 5. This one is up there though...
Yeah...if I had a choice, I'd keep a player named Barkevious Mingo over a guy with a generic name like Jacob Martin.
That’s why this clown was the worst coach in Texans history, not only the teams he coached were bad but he also mortgaged the future of the team, trading star players and drat picks left and right. The next coach and GM are already screwed because of him.
Is it just me or does Nuk not even know the owners name? Seems kinda odd he would be mad he didnt respond to him if he doesnt even know Cals name.
Clint Stoerner said today Johnson was 'quick-twichy' during training camp, but now (obviously) he isn't. Did anyone else notice or hear about this prior to the season's start?
Laughable. Even if Johnson was at his best (during his career) still wouldn't have done this stupid trade. Even with a new offense, this guy isn't good, but that's just my opinion. Sucks that he's gonna get blame for this sht trade.
Clint Stoerner is one cheekful of skoal past relevancy. He has some pretty strange Watson hate and has turned into a Texan lapdog real quick. I can appreciate his experience in the NFL, but he was a lifelong backup who chimes in as if he was a game changer. I liked him more on his guest appearances. I dont look to validate most things he says. David Johnson was done 3 years ago. He was on the verge of being released after falling to 3 on the depth chart and anyone who payed attention to the game knew this. He has no burst to the edge anymore and goes down at the first sign of contact. He's just check chasing. I'd rather have Duke Johnson starting and bringing in DJ as the 3rd down back.
You may not like Clint, but David Johnson looked much faster against the chiefs than he does now which makes me think he’s just a soft player. He wears down really fast and that’s why he isn’t good anymore. For someone with his physique to not be able to break tackles points to either a bad mindset or more likely he just looks like Tarzan and plays like Jane at this point. Clint has made very valid criticisms of the offense as a whole and the lack of schemes to get wrs open. He’s much more knowledgeable than you obviously, but you don’t have to respect him. He also wasn’t the only one that saw that David Johnson was fast in practice.
