Got 2-3 more years to contend. Don’t blow it up early. I’d rather have Harden in his prime and get less for him in a trade later on when he’s no longer all-NBA.

    Should be renamed:

    A) become a mediocre playoff team for the next 3 years, hope the rebuild won't take more than 10 years

    B) trade both for assets, hope the rebuild won't take more than 5 years

Harden only has a few years left playing at this level I feel like. We need to take advantage while we can. Run it back and there shouldn't be any other options.

We can't look any worse than the clippers who have never made it to the WCF and choke every year.

I never understood the surprise of Rondo's 3's. He's been a 35%+ shooter from 3 point land since joining Dallas. They must have fixed something in his stroke

Not really sure there is anything with the roster to play with.

Keep Harden unless he demands to leave. Players of his caliber don’t grow on trees. He is durable, and he is a winner, no matter what the popular narrative says. If you don’t agree Harden is a winner, Check the Rockets RS and playoff Series wins since 2014 and compare it to the 16 years prior and get back to me.

We could get the #2 pick in the draft for Harden, you think? Great. That could get you the next Kevin Durant.... or the next Hasheem Thabeet, Darko Milicic, Michael Beasley, Shawn Bradley, Sam Bowie, Derrick Williams, Keith Van Horn, or Michael Kidd-Gilchrist.

The same people pushing to trade Harden now would have wanted to trade Olajuwon for Stanley Roberts or Rony Seikaly in 1992. You don’t give up on a generational talent still in his prime for a lottery ticket.

The ring chase is closer with a top 5 player than with draft picks down the road. Then again, the point might be moot because the team is saddled with #Tilman. So all that is left for joy is watching Harden.

If not next year the year after we will see a dip, and not just because of load management. This particular year was very beneficial for load management players. If Lebron ran the full season gauntlet like Harden I doubt he would do as well in the playoffs.

Why the hell would you still keep Harden and Westbrook. Mounting evidence from the past 6 years these guys are not winners and they're in the wrong side of their 30s now. Time to trade them while they have some value and not become albatrosses

Westbrook? Absolutely. Harden? What he's done with the various teams we've tried to throw around him is nothing short of amazing. Aside from the Capela + Paul + Harden core (which was championship caliber if not for injuries and Foster), we've expected Harden to win titles with teams most great players wouldn't take out of the first round.

Not that it means anything, but Tilman just said on CNBC he's not going to blow it up. :D

Does tilman not understand he can get good players with these 2 and save money, get picks, and have flexiablity for the future? What a idiot. Sad when you think you can win now with something, when harden is not that player. Philly wants Harden, and Knicks want Westbrook.

    Randle
    Simmons
    RJ Barrett
    Josh Richardson
    Dennis Smith Jr.

Expiring contracts for 2021 class to build around Simmons and RJ. Picks like #8, etc..

Why go further with harden and westbrook???
