Quit blaming Tilman for all our issues. The real blame goes to Les Alexander for selling the team to a broke casino owner living off of leverage with absolutely no morals. Mattress Mack was a real Houstonian who opened up his house and company for people in need during the floods. Rather lose with class anyday than an idiot casino owner who constantly lies to the fan base.

Les still has our trophies on his boat in Florida

Of course Les sold, he’s greedy

If you are pure rich you don’t sell .
That’s like someone telling Harden to sell his Rolls Royce cause someone will give him lots of cash for it

I'm glad that New Yorker/Floridian sold to a Houstonian! And Jim McIngvale couldn't afford the Rockets. @tinman

Blame the league for not putting buyers through a deep screening process to determine if they have the wherewithal to compete for championships for the long haul.

L.A. was a savy businessman. He picked up the team before they won their first championship. Scooped up the Ming/China deal. Brought on the genius Morey who brought in Harden for pennies on the dollar. He allowed Morey and company to mortgage the future for todays gains (much like what our government does) by trading off all of our future draft picks for the fragile CP0. Everyone hailed Harden and company as future champions. L.A. spend 25 years maximizing the value of this team and it finally came to full fruition.

He knew Morey wanted to go back east. He knew Harden wasnt a leader or winner. He so shrewdly injected Moreys poison pill after the sale with a simple tweet "Fight for freedom, Stand with Hong Kong". And I would even venture to say his premonition skills predicted COVID ........ And he ate at Landreys enough to know when he found the perfect sucker to buy his rotten turd for 2.2B. In Les than 2 years, TF turned the Rockets from La Fisheria to Cap't D's.

Bon Appetit, Rockets Fans. At least this train wreck is on TF's wallet.

We’re not getting a new owner any time soon, so it doesn’t fn matter whose fault it is. This is the situation we find ourselves in.

let’s hope we get a good coach / gm that can turn this thing around.

Isn't it put up to a vote of team owners to see if they will accept a buyer?

Rival teams likely jumped at the chance to have a broke owner at Houston - despite not getting over the hump the team has been relatively very successful for a long time as compared to most franchises, all those other billionaires would probably like to see the Rockets crash and burn so Tilman was a perfect candidate.

I see Morey fans have removed him from any accountability lol. Morey's best move was stepping down. Hopefully Tilman was find a younger, hungry coach and get this thing back on track
