Hopefully Daryl Morey can give lots of Draft Picks for James Harden.

Daryl and James need to win a Championship elsewhere.

The 76ers could hire Daryl Morey and Mike Dantoni, it seems to look that way, than trade for James Harden.

Odd thread title, OP, but a great letter from Daryl to the players, the organization, and the fans. Thanks for posting it.

Will this season of gloom with the Bubble of Doom and a year of living dangerously ever end?

    Sad, sad, sad.

All Tilman had to do to continue fielding a contender was to stay in the background and cut checks. He failed on both counts.

Morey could of resigned effective immediately, but he put a date so it is Morey's decision and a friendly walkoff with the Rockets. It is sad that Cyberx is going to be retired. Rockets could not have a better GM.

Wow, remember how emotional Morey was when Harden won MVP? You can see with this farewell too how much love Daryl has for him.

I'd like to think this is how Morey said his in-person goodbye to Jim Harden.

Morey's made more moves since leaving the org than Tilman Jr has.

Seriously, the off-season is here and other teams including the Lakers are already targeting players/hired coaches while our front office still haven't decided where we go from here. It really shows Tilman doesn't care about this team at all. He just wants us under the tax, doesn't give af if we have a winning or losing record.

Man, as a lifelong fan that hurts my heart lol. He was a HOF caliber GM and an innovator.

He's a Houston Legend and should be welcome anywhere he's recognized by fans in the community.

I'm sure he'll have a job anywhere in the league after he takes a break with family, he's too good at this.

We'll see what the next chapter brings us for the Rockets, every end is an opportunity. Only focus on moving forward, growing from here and taking the next step to the goal.

The newspaper is a nice gesture. Class act. In the year of covid, I really don't blame Morey if he wants to take it easy a bit and spend time with family. It does sound like he wants a break not just from the Rockets org, the tweet but basketball in general and recharge his batteries.

    Best regards

Why has there not been a single word from Harden? I do not understand.
