Really, you'd be surprised at how much a great coach can do. A great coach and GM combo can make the most of this 2021 draft, sign useful guys off the street, make a good big signing or two, and be competing next year. I say this because I don't want people thinking it has to be some 3-4 year rebuild. It doesn't. NFL has extreme parity. We see teams literally turn it completely around with one offseason of work. Unfortunately, Cal is indifferent to this team. So, if our next HC is mediocre he won't realize it until 5 years in after giving him a 4 year extension.
I dont blame Watson, that was probably the first time those easy simple crossing routes came up in the QB meeting since BOB left, lol
Somewhere Bootychin is grinning ear to ear about how the offense looks...He thinks his moves worked!... He can give a **** less about the overpaid defense....
A good entertaining game with a predictable outcome. I have zero problem going for 2 at the end there. Let's just get through this season and blow up the defense.
Going for two while up 7 was a head scratcher. Still don’t understand that play call. That was BoB type stupid
The Titans scored off a direct snap to Derrick Henry, and people think they would’ve stopped a 2 point conversation. Lmfaopffft OK Watson knew that defense was toast lmfao
As a person who agrees with Romeo's decision, nobody cares if Texans couldn't have stopped a 2-pt conv. There is one more play you have a chance to try.
RAC made the right call, to put the ball in Watson's hands and try to win it, he just happened to come up short. Given the pathetic state of the defense, the ONLY chance the Texans had to win it was to go up 9.
Naw man. That was a ballsy move by RAC. BOB is not going 3/3 on 4th downs. BOB kind of stupid is letting the RB throw the ball on a 2-pt conv.
They could end the game if they had succeeded. For that matter, going for it on 4th down when a field goal would have made the titans have to get a TD, by your logic, was just as bad. The Texas did not think that the Titans could stop them and that's why they did it. I'm very surprised that the Titans actually won this game anyways. And if we don't win the coin toss we probably don't win.
It's one thing to not be very talented as this team clearly is especially the defense. But to also be dumb, that's unforgivable. Going for 2 in that situation was pure stupidity.
How did they choke, they scored every time they had the ball, unless you feel that the Titans and Derrick Henry are just nobodies and should be stopped, routinely by any defense?
