Harden is about to be out in a couple years, I wouldn't trust him to pick the coach. Pick the guy you think can get you wins.
They just want somebody they're cool with thats why neither has won much in the playoffs..hope the rockets do the right thing and make smart decisions rather than what their stars want especially since we could be in rebuild mode soon
If they asking them in the first place thats who they gonna sign with. They made 3 finalists organization is ok with and asked players who they want. If lucas is head coach im not getting my hopes, canceling league pass and subscribing again when winning is priority with this club. I dont have any hair left to watch another crucial moments breakdown
Well no ****ing ****, it’s clear what system and approach they support by looking at the product we’ve thrown on the floor. i know he has a lot of fans, but enough of caving to harden and his demands. We’re not winning a championship or even remaining competitive. We have no assets. No draft picks with potential value, and an owner that will cut costs rather than spend on winning. Worst of all, his only point of checks and balances was run off by these same buffoon practices. Tillman started the clock on our demise, but harden ensured it by showing he’s unwilling to buy into a more ball movement centric system or listen to peers such as cp3 that challenge him. As hard headed as Jordan was, he swung punches in practice but still listened to the likes of Rodman, popper, and even little Kerr. He wanted to be challenged and to win. If he doesn’t like it he can get shipped out and let’s start this rebuild a year or two early.
This is the same news that has been regurgitated for nearly a week here. Please look at the sources you post. Not everything needs a thread, this isn’t reddit. Stein has been steadfast in saying the guys support Lucas. Hopefully Harden is publicly supporting him because he loves him and is privately smart enough to know he’s not the right hire. edit: Stein began talking about Lucas on October 05 and hasn’t stopped. Someone keeps saying his name to him. He’s been consistent in saying the team loves him. I’m sure they do. He’s a great guy. This isn’t news. Everything points to Lucas because he’s the cheapest, he’s Hardens friend and we are used to being tortured by this team with coaching hires since McHale was hired.
Yuck! Can we please get rid of them both, hire Silas for the long haul and start the fooking rebuild already?
Harden had a close relationship with Mike D. All indications were the team liked him. Why would they play harder for Lucas? We need a real Head Coach, not a great guy and mentor type.
