    So how would you evaluate Moreys tenure? If your not basing it on 15 years of results what the hell are you basing it off of?

    Morey stated the goal every year was a championship and we didnt sniff the finals one time... We had 1 great season with Morey and about 3 more pretty dang good years the rest was a long list of getting bounced by Utah or Portland.

    Only a few people here think Les is a "great" owner, let alone the greatest owner in pro sports. Don't be dramatic. But compared to Tilman Fertitta, Les Alexander might be called Alexander the Great.

    I have listened to about 10 reaction podcasts from pretty well respected basketball analysts since Morey stepped down.

    Every. Single. One. Has praised the job he did while he was here and most believe he would be on the top of any teams wishlist for a GM if they were to be losing their current one.

    Mainly because like with most things in life you should value process over results. Doing the right things will give you the best chances to succeed, but it doesn’t guarantee it.

    Yes Morey deserves a pat on the back and an attaboy but Pat Riley didnt just walk out of Toyota Center.

    Apparently you have no idea how to evaluate performance. Its not "championship or you suck." How hard is that not to see? How hard is it to use context? Gosh some of you ......

    Likely longer. All those picks we traded for Westbrook, plus an aging Harden, means we will be bottom feeders 5 years from now AND we won’t get the benefit of drafting in at least one of those drafts. So let’s peg the late 2020s before we can begin to amass enough picks and youth to build a championship roster, then another 3-5 years for them to develop. You’re looking at early to mid 2030s.
