I can't imagine what Tilman went through to make 2.2 billion dollars over the years to buy the team, but to sell it because someone is complaining on Clutchfans.. I can't imagine that either.

Les duped us all. He is somewhere laughing sipping pina coladas. He sold a expensive business to someone who thought they could afford it, or that it would be cool to have. This is a business like any other. At least Les understood in order to make profit you have to invest in it. Even after years of financial anarchy they put a team in place to minimizes loses. That's still won't be enough for Tilman.

Les even gave Fertitta a loan as part of the sale. If you look up the deal, very little cash was involved.

This really sucks. I hate the fact that this league is not owned by Americans anymore. This is basically a political and money move. No doubt, Morey's tweet had a lot to do with it. The one great thing is that my loyalty will not be bought.

He's the worst thing about the city of Houston, worse than the traffic, worse than the flooding, and there's nothing we can do about it.

The funny thing that nobody really knows about around here is one of the biggest reasons Kelvin Sampson has chosen to remain at UH is because one of his demands was Tilman not involve himself the way he does with the Rockets. It's understood that Kelvin actually has full reigns is allowed to be him and operations have nothing to do with Tilman. If Tilman put his nose and two cents in, Kelvin would have been gone a long time ago and taken his family to bigger power 5 schools

Tillman needs to be very very careful. He is about to turn into another Blacklisted franchise by agents and players. Even with the NYC spotlight no one wants to go the Knicks. Heck even agents don't want their stars signing on the Knicks. With Houston being a lot less marketable city as L.A and NY and Miami and even Chicago this franchise could very well be doomed for life. Players talk. Agents talk. Reputations stick. Tillman might be dooming this Rockets franchise.

His family’s got mob ties. Hope he takes some high interest loans he can’t pay off

Elon Musk should own the 'Rockets' because he really does make 'Rockets'
Plus he makes more in one day than Les Alexander and Tilman made in their entire life

He's like a 99er and everyone else is newb trolls

this idea needs to get in Elon's ear. He's wacky enough to do it just because it seems cool and he's not going to be concerned with the price. It would be interesting to see how the Rockets are valued now versus when Fritatta bought the team. But the Rockets seem to be his son's new toy, so we are probably stuck with these tools bags for a long time.

I honestly don't think his pride would let him do it. He will keep stacking 15% interest rate loans before he will sell the Rockets. Ego is everything to a guy of his personality type.
