Crane has never been shy about spending money, at all.

Astros +400 to win the series. Juicy ass odds I want to bet on to make this series even more fun to watch.

Do it! I got them at +1600 after Game 3. $250 to win $4,000. Lets go!

I'd love it if they could, but I don't think it's as simple as that, especially when you consider the other areas of the team that need to be addressed.

Who's that guy at 1:20 celebrating Correa's walk off HR?

I love this shot of the bench @3:11 when Correa hits it. Maldy is the only one on the bench, scheming in his head on how to get the next order of rays out while the others looked on the ab. Springer rubbernecking off the sound of the bat. Altuve being the first one on the field to celebrate and back to his kiddish ways.

I get that. But, your number one priority above all else should be to keep this core of players together. They could go down in history as one of the greatest core of players to ever play together. As we’ve seen, they can develop pitching rather cheaply. With Verlander and Greinke both coming off the books after next season there is no reason why they can’t prioritize keep the core together.

    We have Altuve/Bregman locked in.
Let's keep Springer/ Correa for the long term.
It's hard to believe the turnover since 2017. We've managed to recycle other positions successfully. Some guy's can't be found. Those 4 are the core

You burn out 30 mil/per on an old hand like Verlander. You fade the lifetime contract on Cole. Okay. Those 4. Keep em

That's the thing about baseball, it's hard for any one guy to do everything, so you need a good mix of guys. If nothing else, the Bagwell/Biggio and the Altuve years taught me that CLUTCH is a real thing in baseball, and you really need to hold on to the guys that have it. We gotta do what we can to lock Springer up. It's pretty amazing the company that Springer/Altuve/Correa are in when it comes to career postseason homeruns. I don't expect any of the guys to take a hometown discount, but hopefully they get offered a fair contract and the friendship/camaraderie lets them take it without trying to get the absolute highest $$$.

Verlander is just six wins away from another ring. If he walks into the dugout with an inspiring fist pump it would be legendary.

Hopefully we still have a formidable team left for his last hurrah.
A part of me had feared players would jump ship due to the controversy. But Correa. He's keeping this heart beating

That was the first walk off homer in the playoffs. Second walkoff win after the first game of the Braves-Reds game (single)

I'm' really looking forward to hearing Springer and Brantley agree before the game to play the next 5 years in Houston for free.

I'm a fan, especially after that one sequence with Arozarena where he paused before the pitch at the last minute and got a strikeout. Not sure if he changed his mind on what pitch he wanted thrown, or was playing mind games with Arozarena, but it worked :D
