I consciously don't listen to sports talk anymore. I just get upset. One day i was seriously like that has to have a negative impact on my well being

Anyway its a big topic on black Facebook. I know people think about it but are white fans passionate about it?

No, white people most discuss different ways to cook with mayonnaise and how to cheat on their taxes and if anything suspicious happened on their RING doorbell.

Is this sarcasm? Is my question offensive?

I made a conscious effort to say fans not whites in general

If the question seems weird ill put it like this. Nobody debates mj and kobe. Kibe is clearly number two

Are you saying Kobe is clearly ahead of LeBron?

I think MJ has an edge over LeBron, unless LeBron wins a couple more rings. Then it might be virtually even.

Both MJ and LeBron are clearly ahead of Kobe though. In fact, I don't think Kobe is even in the top-3.

    No

Edit: you probably kno statistically points rebounds assists, some of their individual seasons only Oscar Robinson and Jordan are in the same class. The other 2 who have had the magical 25-7-7 seasons are Harden and Westbrook and Harden does it often

Not saying they are in the same class

I would still take Magic Johnson over all of them

Edit again: i guess its 25-6-6, Westbrook actually went 27-7-7 this season

I'm asking because I have friends that are basketball fans of all races.

We all debate the same bs equally. Hence the question, why would it matter?

I am not a big mayo guy but I am tempted to buy a jar to attempt a mayo sear after sous vide.

I don't think its any bigger than such talk as always been. Given your description, I'd say, therefore, no, its not a big topic for white fans, relative to what its always been.

As for stopping listening to sport talk, YES! ALL they do is try to agitate and bloviate, and frankly, they don't usually have a clue at all about what they're talking about. They're just trying to generate controversy, because that drives traffic. Don't play their game. If we all stopped listening to that crap, they might change and actually become useful sources of information.

Basketball fans debate LeBron versus Jordan, that includes white fans. I think on average a higher percentage of black people that are basketball fans than white people.

Having said that, Jordan is clearly better but everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

That's cause kobe is like top 10-15. It's no debate. Any real fans know it.

Look at the stands in the 80s and 90s. White people everywhere getting wild to Pump Up the Jam and The Power. From the young to middle aged ladies. The GOAT made them all watch basketball. The Whites know who the GOAT is. They stopped watching after he retired.

It was like entire arenas of Steve Balmers and Steve Balmers with wigs and their kids through the late 80s and 90s when the GOAT performed his art. It will never be the same.

Toyota Center is a nursery for babies. Several occasions i had people ask me to sit down and watch my language. That's LeBron's NBA.

@pgabriel what do white fans of sports debate about or is passionate about in terms of professional sports? is there a never ending debate about who's the better QB--Montana v. Brady v. Manning--right now? I'm really curious
