Is this Rays team better than the one we beat last year?

Going to be a tough series. Pitching hands down is in Tampa's favor. I know the Astros just destroyed the A's pitching but the starting rotation for the Rays is way better.

    Lol bring on the nerves....

I don’t know...with the way the Astros are collectively swinging the bat right now I think the Rays may be a slightly more favorable matchup. I fear what Judge/ Stanton/ Voit would have done...oh well it’s a moot point now.

I won't be as nervous this series because the stakes aren't as high playing them. If we were playing a known rival the Yankees next round or the Dodgers in the WS... then I'd be nervous lol

When he deliberately says I don’t want to come in, in the middle of an inning. That’s your answer right there

I think it's about the same imo. Our pitching is worse and no Alvarez this series. I expect to see Diaz out there more.

Newsflash TBS: prior to Brosseau, Bill Mazeroski was NOT the last player to hit a go ahead HR in the 8th or later vs the Yankees

It used to buy championships. I couldn't be more happy to see the Yanks lose again.

All things being equal and the money wasn’t he had to go to NY. I can’t blame him. Don’t forget he had been under control so this was his first go at FA and it was a bigger payday then we would offer

The only team I would be okay losing against would be the rays. Dodgers, Yankees, A’s are another story. But we better not lose to the rays lol
