I’ll say it again, I don’t like his style of play but he is a stand up individual. What you see is what you get and he sticks by his principles.

Yes it was a PR stunt. However, even though he may have been instructed to do it, he seems to consistently be that type of person. He seems like a person that would be in a service position if he wasn’t a NBA player. —> EMS, Firefighter, Law-enforcement, teacher/coach. Any chance he gets he gives back. Last one to stop signing autographs, he knows one last picture turns into 30 extra minutes. If he were to that 6 times a day —> 1/4 of his life is spent with people he will never receive anything back from. He knows that but still dose it. He seems to care about other people #good person.

Can Russell Westbrook take a Paycut on his $44 million a year salary.

Lets see if he is really Charitable.

Nike PR at its best covering up flaws.of Westbrook in the Playoffs.

What I know is shocking for Clutchfans is not that he tipped $8000

My limited impressions are based on how he has treated members of the media the past decade, if I ever saw him I would never approach him (even pre-pandemic), he comes across as someone who thinks of himself very highly and the people around him are peasants. Westbrook has attacked people in a nasty way with his responses, Marshawn Lynch I feel like has a sense of humor about simply denying the media, Westbrook tries to gaslight them which is not cool. Literally if someone in the media suggests anything he will come up with a reason for them to be wrong, he does not want anyone to feel like they understand him or basketball. We've seen him do this on and off the court for a decade. He has also gotten into it with fans seemingly more than others, although some of this was in Utah so who knows what type of racist stuff was said, and in that case the response is warranted.

He probably tried to lay it up in his wallet and it rimed out.

    Seriously though...nice gesture.
No go practice on your jumper!!!

Some of you are so jaded/determined to dislike everything RW does.

This is not a PR stunt. It's who he is.

So, word got out. That's not on Russ.

    Geez.

Also only 99ers are classy enough to tip the house keeping when they stay at the hotels
you know at the ritz carlton, grand hyatts, four seasons

while the cheapskates here leave left off taco bell stains at the Days inn off the highway

    99ers > all
