Why must this guy always throw random shots at the rockets? I mean, unfortunately, he’s right, but still...So unnecessary

    https://www.nbcsports.com/bayarea/w...ets-saying-warriors-wont-change-their-offense

So when he was asked about potential new concepts for Golden State's offense next season, the eight-time NBA champion took a playful jab.

"We're not reinventing the wheel. We're still gonna be the Warriors," Kerr told The Athletic's Tim Kawakami on Wednesday. "We're not gonna all of a sudden turn into the Rockets -- change our offense -- and have one guy go high pick-and-roll 70 times a game."

    Zing!

When Kawakami responded with, "That would be so you, Steve. Just do that. Iso ball -- where your heart is," Kerr made a joke.

"I think I would resign first," he said.

The 2015-16 NBA Coach of the Year then got more serious.

"We gotta be ourselves," he said. "What makes Steph (Curry) and Klay (Thompson) the players they are is the combination of what they can on and off the ball. That's what moves defenses.

"And what makes Draymond (Green) special is his ability to distribute from either the four or the five spot -- to have playmaking at that level. As you watch (the) Miami (Heat) right now, you can see the influence that our team has had on the league.

"It's really difficult for defenses to guard when there's a lot of action going on. So we're not gonna change that stuff."

No lies. Hopefully the Rockets hire a coach who will add movement and not a push over.

You'd think he wouldn't be so petty after winning 3 rings and routinely eliminating the Rockets for years.

That run with CP3 must have really had him shook.

Kawakami tried to save his ass by the subtle "iso" correction.

But Kerr being Kerr was oblivious because he was so busy trying to be witty and self important.

It hurt when we were contending against the Warriors.

It's an 'eh' feeling now. Akin to the shade we throw as Rockets fans to other rubbish teams. We're the rubbish team to the Warriors now.

It was because Harden was doubled at mid court. Trying to set a pick for your ballhandler being doubled is not smart BB.

We abandoned it because teams would just trap when the pick came. Morey is on record saying that. We need a Chrisian Wood on this team badly.
