Time to get all the series finished (1 postponement already), not competing with football on Sat/Sun for TV revenue, time to move to the new bubble cities, give everybody a rest, I guess?
UT/TCU is at 11AM manana and you don't hear me complaining. Also gives them time to do covid testing before everyone moves to the bubbles.
That's a Saturday! Hate the Astros seemingly always getting the slot that interferes with school/work. I'm totally teasing as I'm also in that demographic of Astros fan
All that makes too much sense to be MLB's reasoning. Whats the real reason? Huh? Huh? Some meaty conspiracy i'm bettin'
Yes, of course, Manfred (in conjunction with the Coastal media) timed Covid (with the cooperation of the MLBPA), in order to **** the Astros into a low seed and thus day games for the rest of the Postseason. It's so simple, why didn't yall figure it out?
I hope we get Lunhow back in light of all this. He’s boss at what he does. Getting Astros past the Yankees twice was genius. Outsmarting Goliath for sure.
This didn't age well - kudos to Framber and the front office (let's be real Dusty didn't make that decision). Watching Framber, Javier, and Urquidy pitch gives me hope in the future for this team...
There is a lot of rubbish said between series. I think Castor likes the series threads to be about the games and the aftermath of the games such that the first game starts on the first (or second page) of the thread.
Playoff Josh Reddick isn't awful? Did you even bother to read the stats I posted? Edit: It's from 2017 but I'd go out on a limb and say if anything he's made the numbers from the below article even worse. https://www.theringer.com/2017/6/29...ston-astros-unclutch-performance-3ac227ca7851
You have no idea what my point of posting stats that show Josh Reddick over a LARGE playoff AB sample size is one of the worst performing hitters in the history of baseball? Are you Josh Reddick? His dad maybe? We continue penciling in an average defender who arguably might be a worse option at the plate than Greinke at this point and it's absolutely frustrating that we've been doing it - it may have cost us last year as we never FULLY committed to giving Tucker a shot by letting him play every day and get 300+ ABs and instead we continued playing this sunk cost solely because of this salary he is making. Edit: Yet you were b***** about Altuve being awful...LOL in general I normally agree with your takes but at times you post some of the most ridiculous stuff and continue to double down on it.
To your point, in his 4 postseasons with Houston, he is slashing .183/.236/.244/.480 in 141 plate appearances.
LOL to my point he strikes again - at this point he's my second most hated player literally in the history of the MLB behind the one and only Mike Fiers. If I see his name in the lineup again this series I'm going to start to wonder what dirt he has on Crane because there's no way anyone can be f***** this stupid.
