I can’t stand either one of these candidates, but I’m disgusted with this debate. Trump can’t stop rambling and lying, Joe can’t stop rambling and lying (Trump is a child) and Chris Wallace is trying, but severely failing, moderating this. I’m genuinely concerned that our political parties are this inept and these are the candidates we have to choose from. It’s depressing.
Some people on the left will be frustrated by Biden tonight. No doubt. But this hurts Trump more with moderates. He's to zany, too extreme and too divisive.
I guess he's afraid were going to scour all the creeks and start counting all these phantom ballots in the creeks of the nation.
Trump debate to only win over his already won base. That’s a great strategy when you are up -9 points.
Don't equate both as equally acting like children. Trump is a toddler. Chris Wallace has to directly babysit him.
Let's get Rogan to moderate the next debate. Have it be the only other debate. Let him give these guys Muay Thai locks every time one interrupts. That's how you solve this mess.
This exactly this. This only impresses his core base and frightens everyone else. They can literally see how divisive he and how he paints everyone as extremists.
I watched about the first 30 minutes before I turned it off because I couldn’t take Trump constantly not giving Biden the time of day to speak, and Chris Wallace wasn’t being assertive enough to stop it. Anyone with a shred of moral decency knows Trump’s tactic of talking over Biden at every opportunity during this “debate” is poor sportsmanship, and, if it were their child, they would demand he or she waits his or her turn to speak. Stop holding the President of the United States to a lower standard than you would hold your own children. Then, I tuned back in to watch Trump not acknowledge white supremacist groups are playing a huge role in protests across the United States following George Floyd’s murder, and when given the opportunity to condemn them, he did the opposite, telling them to “stand back and stand by.” How any decent human being can rationalize voting for Trump after everything he’s done since March and his behavior in this “debate” is beyond me.
