    no. It’s an analogy.

“oh look, they did ok for a bit!! All must be good and they should expected to continue to do ok then!!!”

If I were a GM worth anything, I wouldn't want to join the Texans just to be subservient to O'Brien.

And if I'm a HC candidate worth anything, I sure as hell ain't coming to the Texas with O'Brien as GM. That's an instant failure before you even coach game one. No way I want OB negatively affecting my resume.

This would have been the perfect game to run about ten RB screens....

We have a problem handling the blitz, and part of that problem is that we're not giving our lineman any help in the sense of running screens to offset that aggressiveness.

It’s so damn frustrating to watch DEs just come off the edge unblocked happened several times this game and the last two games.

Mainly on the right side and a few in the middle smh.

Not to mention all the big contracts and no top draft picks. Unfortunately I think we are stuck for this season and the next.

So glad I haven’t watched a game this year. Typical trash organization.

TJ Watt goes untouched the first play of the game and crushes DW4, first play of the freaking game.

Play action, run-pass option, quick outs

Seriously, what happened to the run-pass option plays we used to run?

Watching the Texans offense in the 2nd half was just depressing. Such a limp dick performance lol.

    Also fire O'Brien obviously.

We had 41 yards of offense in the the 2nd half. 17 plays, 2.4 yards per play. We had the ball for just 9:49 seconds.

Your logic of: "They were never going to win! The drives in the first half were just pure luck! Lucky I say!!" → That's fine I guess, but I completely disagree.

It's never as black and white as we would like to believe. Texans played a solid first half, especially the drive to end it. Then much of the same BS in the second half. No adjustments made, no urgency, calling the same vanilla a-gap handoffs to David Johnson, and the defense eventually tired out.

Me saying I was encouraged by the first half, then seeing the first two drives of the second half and expecting us to lose is not the same thing as me saying: "WELL WE HAD A GOOD FIRST HALF GUYS!!!! PROGRESS!!!"

Gtfo out of here putting words in my mouth.

Did Scharping forget how to play football?

He was benched last game as well.

And it didn't seem like they had the ball that long.

What's really sad about this loss is that even Jacksonville, with a QB making less than $700,000, is leading us in the division. Even Minshew is ranked above Watson now. Just goes to prove my point. You can pay more on Defense and have an ave QB and do better.

We are dead last in the NFL in rush defense. Jacksonville has the best rush defense in the AFC South. We need defense!!! We should have never let Clowney go. We should have signed Adrian Peterson on the cheap contract we could have got him on. We should have signed top tier Cornerbacks. We should have done so many things better. Better and smarter......shoulda coulda woulda BOB!!
