DBU ain't looking so DBUish ... I thought they'd be exponentially better as a unit in yr 3 of their arrivals.. They are terrible fundamentally... They're just athletes with no DB instinct...
Yes, if you think it is a blip on the screen and not indicative of how the team will play the rest of the season. I don’t have that confidence.
Hate to say it but Herman needs to go. They dont look any different from Herman's first year here and he's got all of his recruits in place. How many more years are left on his contract?
I'm happy we won in this miracle tracy mcgrady 3 pointer vs the spurs way however, I don't like this social distancing defense
He's here through 2023 - and the athletic department budget has been destroyed by Covid, so almost no chance he's gone until 2024.
Ya not a whole lot of positives to take away other than that is a loss every other year. Can maybe chalk it up to Tech being that bad but we executed down the stretch, a rarity as of late. Hoping this was some type of welcome to the Big 12 moment for Ash/Valai but zero excuse for Hand and OL play. Running game was horrid, 6 TFLs and 2 sacks that would’ve sealed the loss 9 out of 10 games. They gotta figure something out to get things rolling, our RBs were running straight into walls way too many times.
Bijan took a nasty spill trying to jump over a defender and didn’t return. Herman said it’s just a strained back so we will see.
Our defense has been bad for the better part of the decade. Should have never let Duane Akina go. Where is Robinson to show these guys how to play disciplined defense?
The worst defensive play last game was when their running back ran over our defense for some 60 yard run . Like no tackling whatsoever
