It doesn't take a CNN watcher to hear Trump's words coming straight out of his mouth. He spurts out lies at press conferences, rallies, interviews, and on social media. If his cult just used some damn common sense they would see what a psychotic compulsive liar he is.

Who in their right mind believes him at this point?

    I hope so.

I hope he humbly steps down and I hope he stays our of the way of the people voting. I really 100% hope so...but just like I hope Westbrook hit an open 3 point shot, I expect him to miss it just like I expect for Trump to muddle and meddle with this entire election and when it doesn't go his way he'll say others cheated and try to bog it down in legislation.

This is more of the Say Anything President saying anything. Trump has managed to dominate 2-3 24 hour news cycles with this BS.

When the dust settles next week, Trump can go back to say Biden is hiding out in his basement again, avoiding the cameras.

I hope not. We need to be like the landlord and bust his ass with the eviction notice!

Agree to a point (and btw, trump already started that "joe hiding" comment at the very same time Biden was attending RBG's funeral). But trump's attack on the very core of American democracy isn't just "dust" and while he obviously benefits from attention away from COVID-19 deaths he is responsible for, I would hope Americans can handle more than one outrage at a time...

But amid all the hand-wringing over what he may or may not do, don’t let Trump snatch away your own agency and attention. David Axelrod, as canny and experienced a political observer as there is, reminded everyone not to get overly distracted by Trump’s performance art. “You do wonder if the POTUS would sooner have us talking about his outrageous comments on the election than the 202,000 dead of COVID-19 or the 870,000 additional Americans who filed for unemployment this week,” he tweeted.

I am saying he will win by fiat - declaring himself the winner no matter what the result is. You do understand that is the whole point of the thread?

It's hilarious when someone who doesn't understand something acts like everyone else is mentally slow.

Yep, and if he tries to pull anything I am sure it would not end well for him.
