A concert isn't an entire city with different groups of people. Come on. You are better than this.

I genuinely thought that he was one of the more rational conservatives here. It's sad to see.

How many cops need to be shot before it isn't a peaceful protest?

What is the point of these adjectives? I use them to describe the events. If two people get hit, it seems not peaceful. What say you? 5?

It's contextual dude. Were the those shooters even a part of the day protestors. Were the protestors condoning the shootings of the cops?

It takes one human to shoot two cops. How does that discredit the hundreds of other humans?

    You are better than this.

OK so one shooter means peaceful. So by your logic, the las vegas concert shooting was a peaceful concert correct. Brilliant.

The concert goers were peaceful. One shooter wasn't. The protestors were peaceful. A shooter wasn't.

How many of these protesters have signed up to vote? If they don't believe in the system, does that justify them protesting months later?

Seems like a perpetual brew for a riot and random people getting shot.

Ofc the system aint peachy nor are the protesters the first thing on politicians minds, but to not even try...I can't respect that.

the concert was not peaceful, the protest where cops went down was not peaceful. It's common sense. People were shot.

When people say "peaceful protests" it means the actual protestors were peaceful at least the overwhelmingly majority of them. Not that somehwhere in the vicinity violence didn't occur.

So you're in favor of resisting officers and going around town high on drugs. That's your recipe for success in life. Got is!

    Try again, Sis.

Now, let me use that same logic on you guys defending Trump's Coronavirus response. When over 200,000 people are dead from a virus, how can the President say he gets an A+ in his response? How can his defenders cheer him mocking the "Responsible Adult" Biden wearing a mask and defend the "Irresponsibly Dangerous Fool" who doesn't care if masks help stop the spread? Last, but not least, how can his cult act like 200,000 dead is a hoax?

Where's the common sense there? Where's the outrage there?

there are thousands of outraged posts on this very BBS about that subject which has nothing to do with this thread. You could almost click a thread at random and find angry posts directed at Trumps response. ie yours

Trump order blocks Charlotte judge’s bias class for federal prosecutors

    BY MICHAEL GORDON
    SEPTEMBER 24, 2020 04:12 PM

As debates over race continue to roil American cities leading up to November’s presidential election, the Trump administration has blocked a long-scheduled training class on “implicit bias” that was to be taught to federal prosecutors by a Charlotte judge.

The Sept. 29 virtual program was designed for the country’s 93 U.S. Attorneys and their staffs, according to Mecklenburg Superior Court Judge Lou Trosch, a longtime trainer on the impact of implicit bias — attitudes that unconsciously influence actions and decisions — in the criminal justice system. It had been scheduled for two months, Trosch said.

On Wednesday, under a new executive order issued by the White House, the class was “postponed.”

This week’s directive by President Donald Trump, who visited Charlotte on Thursday afternoon, targets racial-sensitivity training for government workers that uses what one administration leader described as “divisive, anti-American propaganda” to portray the United States as an “inherently racist or evil country.”

Trosch has taught bias training to government agencies, private companies and civic, religious and school groups for more than a decade.

You do know the police kill more whites than blacks right ? (yes proportionally more blacks).

People pointing to race are just looking for a reason to cry racism .... there's a hell of a lot more to this problem than just the color of one's skin - Hoodrats gonna hoodrat .... no matter what color they are.

You do know he was spitting on police and they put a "Spit bag" over his head .... essentially panty hose.

Breonna Taylor was a tragedy .... but had her boyfriend not started shooting at police - she'd be alive.

    Circumstances matter.

Ah yes an oldy. Let me get my Maroon 5 MP3's I got off Napster for the proper soundtrack.

Quite the logical leap there you make. I'm not going to bother explaining that saying someone shouldn't be killed to resisting arrest doesn't amount to endorsement of resisting arrest but you've already provided the answers I expected.

You think an LEO getting enraged or in fear is justification for killing a suspect in custody. Even one restrained.

Yes and then they put him a chokehold even though he was also cuffed too at that point he couldn't even spit on them. I've seen the video and heard the audio.
And her boyfriend wasn't charged. His charges were dropped based on self-defense. That him shooting at LE is considered self-defense yet the LE were not charged in shooting at him and Breonna Taylor indicates how questionable these circumstances were.
