34 year old that works in my org died of corona today after a long fight. In the past 2 weeks 2 people I am close to turned up +, both doing okay. One extremely well. The other more of a textbook symptomatic case.
I’ll ask friends, if she’s a resident in Houston definitely know people that know her. One of the residents where I’m at passed in April too
Looks like an iPod case. They already have a mobile app now they are adding a BT token. Singapore’s Tracing Token to Have Battery That Can Last 9 Months Janil, who heads the agency responsible for the development of these contact-tracing devices, said the token will complement a three-month-old phone app to reach the maximum number of residents. With a goal of reaching 100% of the population, Singapore’s tracing program is among the most ambitious in the world. About four months into the pandemic, efforts by many countries to use mobile apps to fight the virus have mostly stalled or have been abandoned amid dismal take-up rates and privacy concerns.
Fauci tells Congress the U.S. could have enough coronavirus vaccine doses for every American by April https://www.cnbc.com/2020/09/23/coronavirus-vaccine-fauci-tells-congress-it-may-take-time.html Key words are "could" and "may", but pretty optimistic testimony by the guy that sees all the data coming from the studies before anyone outside of the actual companies.
A problem is trust, or lack of. Will you take a vaccine for covid has gone from the 70% in May to the 50% according to recent PEW polls.
Yes. I'm lining up to take the first one available because I believe in the science, not the hype of politics.
More concrete evidence from a credible source about something that was speculated locally months ago.
there is a risk every time you inject something into your body. The international scientific community is doing huge stage 3 trials. The safety info will be there for everybody to vet. I also tried to find a bunch of bad data on anthrax since you mentioned it. I found the\at the original vaccine had adverse reactions but no deaths in 1% of the people that took it, but that vaccine was so important for high risk people that it was used for 40 years. I also read that it was given to 2.5 million soldiers in the early 2000s with 74 adverse reactions.
With the President arguing with his own officials on when the vaccine will safely be available and putting constant pressure on the manufacturer to get it available before the election, many people will not take it because of fear of side effects based on the vaccine being perceived as haphazardly rushed for political reasons... I even know several doctors that are seriously debating not getting the vaccine and actually said they will tell their family members to wait.
https://www.cidrap.umn.edu/news-per...used-many-reactions-prompted-some-pilots-quit I believe in Science also. There is a reason why many vaccines take years to get FDA approval. I will wait a few months before I get it. I will let other people test it out first.
Science? Do you believe in rushed science that hasn’t been tested for long term effects and is being manufactured by private corporations under extreme pressure from the White House to get it out now? I will wait until it is available before I decide if I will get it. I am a huge proponent of properly studied vaccines, which takes years. This is a drive by rushed vaccine.
