    I just rewatched it. I'm 99.9% sure he means: "I am just focused on this team and what we are doing right now. I'll focus on FA when it gets to that point, etc."

    Not "I'm really concerned with what's going on with contract talks and the FA market in general."

    Watch it again and it makes more sense.

    Love Springer and hope he stays, but if he can get a good payday somewhere else, more power to him. For me, he's in the CFM tier where he can pretty much do no wrong. I remember being in Houston and going to one of (if not the first) games he played in against the Royals in 2014.
