I guess if you can't afford to live elsewhere, this can feel like a shithole, only because you feel powerless and insignificant.

If you love or at least live in this country gotta take ownership in making it better. No one else gonna do the hard work for you.

You are not an intelligent person, and as such, your stance on America being the worst country in the world leads me to believe it is actually the best country in the world. The smart people, the people thriving, and the hard-working, productive people who form the bedrock of this great nation, believe this is a great place. The people who mindlessly believe the media's political propaganda, the people who live off of government assistance, and the people who allow themselves to be utterly manipulated by dishonest partisans who prey upon weak minds.... well, those people are dissatisfied with the country right now. They have allowed themselves to be deceived.

Minorities tend to have problems with cops in most countries. (minorities in that country)

Plenty of corrupt politicians world wide.

 

Honest question as I seek to understand your viewpoint: How many times did cops "murder" black people when the people "murdered" did NOT pose a threat to the cops by either fighting them or pulling a weapon?

USA has
The highest rate of gun violence (both mass shootings and gangs).
Worst upward mobility of the lower income class.
Worst handling of the covid response.
A huge % of the population who believe a lot of conspiracy theories.

That's all despite attracting the smartest people from around the world to your Universities.
But what's the point when people don't even listen to them on topics they are the most knowledgeable.

Instead you have a whole group of people who believe "It'll start getting cooler. You just watch"

 

As numbered:
1. This is because of inner city crime rates. Inner cities are exclusively governed by Democrats.
2. The result of poor inner city education, family structures, and crime. Inner cities are exclusively governed by Democrats.
3. The result of Democratic governors sending COVID positive patients to nursing homes, killing thousands. America has the best testing in the world, is the closest to therapeutics and a vaccine, and has economically led the world out of this.
4. The media brands anything that disagrees with their political objectives as "conspiracy theories". It's their tool to delegitimize opposing viewpoints. Democrats seek to control all forms of media (TV, print, internet). Their way of achieving this goal is to make gullible people believe that dissenters are crazy people who subscribe to conspiracies. People who complain about conspiracy theories have already been tricked by the politically-minded media.

So my response to the OP's concerns would be to get rid of Democratic policies, media, and leaders to make America a better place. They just don't work. It's stunning to me that inner city people who are suffering continue to vote for the Democratic leaders who ruined their neighborhoods and put them in that position. And that my friends, is why Democrats seek to divide us based on race and wealth lines - because their policies have failed literally everywhere.

1&2. What policies of the Dems do you hold responsible for the high level of violence & lack of mobility.

Most countries with a large income disparity are the ones that tend to have higher violence. A lower minimum wage / putting poor families in the same region can lead to ghettos & make regions more susceptible to violence.

Also the USA by not helping the poorer citizens to get a strong education really slow the upward mobility of the working class.

I'm Australian so comparing to Australia.

Australia every public school is given $X amount per student.

In America every public school gets the taxes from the houses in their region.
So regions with expensive housing get more money to their education per student than those in poor regions.

In Australia we have a HECs system where if you qualify for University/College, the government pays for your Degree until you make atleast approx 50K a year and they you repay them over time. (You only need to pay back 25% of your degree)

In the USA you pay for University/College by getting a loan from a bank.
A lot of lower income families struggle to do so. If they do, they also face higher interest rates from the banks than Australians do from the government. Plus have to pay back 100% of the costs of their University.

3. Don't be ridiculous.
America's testing has been an abject failure. Including early to today.
Trump was more worried with getting made in America test than the speed of the test, putting the USA on the back foot early.
2ndly Trump has said they've done the most tests. Yes this true but as a percentage of the population USA have done a lot less than anyone else.

What's sad is that xenophobia is rampant amongst the black community... yet they believe they can lecture others on morality and race relations.
