Aside from that, no clue what you do with this roster. After an abysmal performance like this, where do you go?

 

The funny thing is scrubs like Danny Green, Alex Caruso, Morris... they'll get destroyed by the Clippers. We make them look like All-Stars. We routinely let clowns like that dominate us. Guarantee you Rondo will start bricking 3's too...

The Rockets need to get more athletic and find a legitimate stretch five that isn’t a sieve on defense. They need guys that can drive to the basket when teams close out on them hard at the three-point line. Tucker and Covington can’t. Eric Gordon is a mess when dribbling, and teams dare Westbrook to shoot.

That’s the sad thing about the House situation. If he wasn’t an idiot, he’s a great fit as a starter for this group, with Gordon moving to the bench.

The Rockets are going to have to trade Gordon for length and versatility this offseason and spend their MLE to acquire more of it, too. Besides Westbrook, Gordon is the biggest problem on the Rockets’ roster. He was a legit third option on the 2017-2018 Rockets, but he’s a shell of himself now. Westbrook isn’t going anywhere, so his ass better be locked in the gym shooting 1,000 three-point shots a day until his hands hurt. If Rondo can become a passable three-point shooter, Westbrook can, too.

 

They didnt shoot well vs the Blazers, that was their defense destroying the Blazers.

No, they wont. The Clippers play way better defense than us and have better role players. Clippers would kill this team.

 

I think our gimmick ball teaches our guys subliminally that posessions do not matter.

All this PPP crap that as long as you jack up a three it's a good possession. Yeah, that math is BS in the playoffs as we see. You get 0 points you get 0 points, not only that, but missed 3s usually lead to fastbreaks and easy buckets on the other end.

Get F'n good shots, get points, get stops, it shouldn't matter how you do it.

Haha haha no one is trading anything Westbrook. Harden even is on the wrong side of 30. I’m sure we are stuck with these guys for a while.

 

I blame him for running off cp3 (although he did suck last season). And he should move more off the ball, but it must be maddening to create 4x3 situations all game and no one can capitalize on them.

 

If JVG knew what was best for his health, then he would stay far away from this team.
