What makes you think they didnt test negative? You do know they get tested everyday? No point in quarantining if you test negative.
Players' families and documented relations were invited into the bubble after the first round. House could have brought his whole family, sent his kids to activity time and worshipped Jesus with his wife but he chose not to.
its called incubation period. House has likely tested negative , if he tested positive this **** woulda been out the minute the results came out
What makes you think anyone is confused about this? The league doesn't care about players' sex lives and neither do the fans. No one gives a crap about adultery. House broke quarantine protocol and got sent home. Fans are just upset about why he broke quarantine. If he had snuck in his best friend to smoke weed and play Xbox and ended his season because of it, we would still be upset about that too. The league doesn't have sex rules. House just broke the rules because he wanted sex.
I think it’s weird they kicked him out of the bubble. Lou Williams can go to a strip club and just get a 10 day quarantine. What if by some miracle the Rockets win next 3 games. Why wouldn’t they let House play in the next round. Seems premature to send him home before Rockets are eliminated.
Probably weak check points if it was a hotel. Who knows. Front desk clerk count? LOL I mean it's not like a prison, but yeah, I agree, The check points must not have been too hard to get by.
Maybe it's because Lou was on an excused absence. He didn't bring the strip club girls into the hotel in the bubble.
man fukk that. he shouldnt have done it but he should have just had to quarantine 4 days and come back. i hate this so much man.
The league must see it as a worse violation than Williams'. Lou went to a strip club, but supposedly only to get hot wings. House brought an unpermitted visitor into the bubble, which the league really wants to discourage. Remember how I said no one has come to House's defense yet? All of Lou's teammates and Doc Rivers came to his defense when the details of his strip club visit came out. It looks terrible on optics, but it was supposedly an honest mistake. We'll see what the Rockets say about House.
Lol did you not see the picture of him getting a lap dance or the article where the stripper came out and said he was there for more than just wings?
Why is he still on the team, cut that fool. Don't care if the Rockets have to pay his remaining contract.
What "forced abstinence?" First, nobody was forced to enter the bubble. He could have opted out like many players do. He didn't have to agree to the rules, but he did agree to them. Before he decided to screw his teammates by breaking them. Second, he was in the semifinals, during which he was allowed to have family with him, including his wife. Nobody told him he had to be abstinent because nobody told him not to have sex with his wife. Maybe some players have gotten away with this stuff like you suggest, but I doubt there are all that many that would show such blatant disregard for his teammates.
I don't know who you got your info from but I'm pretty sure it isn't right. There was a bit of a local and slightly national story at the time because UH wouldn't give releases to House and another player who wanted to leave after firing the prior coach because the then AD was trying to convince those guys to stay and play for Kelvin Sampson. Some of the local AAU folks connected to those guys were angry at UH over it.
