What is the return on Westbrook? If there is a big enough return I would trade anyone. Something like the AD trade which set the NO up for success for years to come; would be a no brainer for us. Orlando, Phoenix are about the only teams that could pull off a trade like that. Younger talent and picks.
Loser mentality thread. No need to be premature, root for your team until the end. Or dig up another thread that already hashed this out previously.
if we don't win this year, i'm open to trade anyone. in a Russ trade, i'm gonna need at least a healthy Blake Griffin + a future first rounder in return.
Our window may be closed by next year. Warriors will be back to full strength next year. I am not sure if PJ will be back. We really need to push to win the title this year and show that we can beat the Lakers. For me, it is too scary to think about next year at this time.
Series right now is 2-1... Are mods even locking threads anymore? I remember this place used to be pretty lock down bruh.
Teams would only leverage their entire future if it meant substantially increasing their chances to win a championship in the short term. Neither ORL nor PHX would trade us young talent and picks for a Westbrook, because he doesn't move the needle for them. As well he shouldn't. As much as people like to talk about AD not living up to hype or how he was never able to lead the Pelicans anywhere, he's still one of the best players in the game. Lakers giving up Ball, Ingram, etc was definitely worth it. No one is going to give us anything of value for Westbrook.
What series? It's harden vs a Lakers team. If i wanted to see a gang bang I would watch pornhub. Season died when we got westbrook and were then forced to play small ball.
Westbrook is untradable. Everyone should be on the block except Harden and Covington. Would love to see Green come back for the vet min.
