Conley will be back week 4. Tunsil trades is par for the course......if you look at similar trades since that trade. Ramsey and Jamal Adams trades were similar and they were not for a LT. Hell ya, it was a good deal for the Texans (especially with Stills included). Clowney is still playing on 1 year contracts because NO ONE is giving him multi-year offers in the range he wants. O'Brien's, so far, keep getting better with age. We will see if that continues.
Stat guy, what's the most sacks Clowney has had in a season? Tunsil and Howard will be able to handle what Clowney brings at them.
Gotcha. I think that's a good deal then. I don't think he'll get 10 sacks but if he does, maybe it is worth the extra $3M
Texans made a late run for him https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/09/10/texans-made-a-late-run-at-jadeveon-clowney/
I didn’t know he was a “Katy native” so I looked him up and he went to high school in Aurora and found out he was trying to go to the Dark knight rises that shot up but wasn’t able to go because they couldn’t get enough tickets and he was going to Katy the next day...pretty crazy
He didn’t go to high school here. It said he went to high school in aurora but that he had family in Katy but the article still referred to him as a Katy native so he must have been born there and moved
Ugh. Sometimes a trip down memory lane isnt rainbows and unicorns. JDC never reached the star potential, but for a little while he was a disruptor on the edge. I can only imagine what Donald or Mack would have looked like next to JJ.
I know we as fans rarely see all sides of issues, but Clowney sure comes off as incredibly selfish and myopic most of the time. I'm glad the Texans let him walk.
