    As of right 538 has us with best odds of winning the championship. They did correctly predict the raptors last year.

    Interesting that they rank Heat behind Celtics.

    Must be because Bucks are the weakest remaining team in bubble.

    It’s always changing . A good sign, nonetheless. I looked on 538 after game one against OKC I believe and They had us at 1% to win it all.

    just took a second look at this chart, anybody find it crazy that we have a better shot of beating the lakers than the clippers do of beating the nuggets... or am i reading that chart incorrectly

    They've always been high on us because we have two former recent MVP's. Which means the point total of all our individual players is always near the top of all teams. We were third, until both the Clippers and Celtics dropped their last games.

    It's crazy that they have us at 84% to beat the Lakers though. Don't get me wrong, I think we'll win. I'm just not willing to bet my $84 against your $16 that we'll win.

    It’s a lagging indicator, you can’t say their predictive value is such and such without comparing their projections year to year, just before the playoffs even start.

    even then though, RAPTOR has always loved us. Consistently made us the fourth most talented team and next in line after MIL LAL LAC for a shot at winning it all. Just prior to game 1 round 1, I believe the clippers were the favorite followed by MIL

    I've always enjoyed 538's Raptor ratings (which that prediction is based off of). It is the only ranking out there that accurately represents how valuable Harden is relative to everyone else:
