Pretty crazy how no one wanted Fournette, despite the obvious production he gives. Must be something really wrong off the field.

He is only 24. A little better than Marshawn's stint in Buffalo. He could have that kind of resurrection with the right team.

Do the Texans even have a chance at getting Fournette? If it's not too late.

I think he’s going on the waiver wire and I don’t know how far down we are.

He should clear waivers. I assume no one traded for him because no one wanted to pick up the $4 million.

Pretty sure O'Brien will have the last laugh.

Damn, I hope the titans and chiefs don't get him. He'd fit great with the rams or Seahawks

I don't think anyone suspected Jacksonville of straight up releasing him. At least, not this early.

I just took a look at the schedule for the first time since the football season is around the corner. Holy hell the schedule is brutal. This season should just about do it for O'Brien. I don't see how we get more than 7 wins.

How do you figure that? He has underperformed as a head coach for this team for many years. If he goes 6-10 or 7-9 he's gone. Otherwise, the Texans will lose a lot of fans.

He has won division titles 4 of 6 years. He was just given the GM title this year. You don't give someone GM and Coach tile and fire them in the same year. Underperform is relative. He has had a healthy Watson for only 2 playoff runs. Covid-19 has changed the situation. He will be safe this year. Texans will not lose ALOT of fans.

If the team gets worse this year by a significant margin he will be gone. His division titles mean nothing because we have played in a terrible division. This franchise has shown incompetence and it would not shock me if they fired O'Brien after 1 year of giving him the title of "GM". He has not had success in the post-season and most fans want him gone. I believe if the Texans have a terrible year and they keep him then fans will tune out the Texans just like fans tuned out the Astros when they were losing 100 games a year. Covid has not changed anything other than not having OTA's or pre-season. Every team is dealing with this virus, not just O'Brien.

So you're saying Deshaun sucks now, that's breaking news. Deshaun sucking is the only way they don't win 11 games

Where did I say Deshaun sucked? Oh, that's right I didn't. This team is too fundamentally flawed to win 12 games. I would break down the positions for you and explain why this team is going to struggle, but you don't seem like the type to care about stats our analysis.

I don't think the schedule is bad after the first four weeks. Actually, it's decent.
