Do you know what a "Sun Down Town" is?

Im not familiar with the term but if I had to guess, it would be a party town with nightlife

 

Have no idea. Going to urbandictionary...

edit: Wikipedia helped. I learned something. I knew these types of places existed...just didn't know there was a formal name for them.

I just heard this term not too long ago after living in the east Texas pines for over 10 years now, but it wasn't used in a derogatory way. They used it in terms of secrecy.

 

I just know the term from that movie that came out a few years back.

 

I've always known it as more of a inside joke as this gentleman humorously (and somewhat famously) uses it...

I used to drive through one when I made trips to Louisiana and Florida. Supposedly it's not that much of a sun down town anymore.
