Bring ET home Sam Cassell back. He has been mentored by Doc so he has done his due let’s see what he has got. Him or Atikson.
    Hell why not Kelvin Sampson?

Dantoni isn't going anywhere. We built this team for him.

    LOL

    Joerger???

Even Fertita would not be so stupid as to lose the most coveted head coach in the NBA.

He is cheap but he is also prideful.

Losing MDA for being a cheap ass would stigmatize him forever.

None of the available coaches will have the mental fortitude to continue small ball.

And this roster is going nowhere, salary cap is locked with the core we have now.

There are a number of coaches that could coaches this Rockets team competently. Atkinson, Gentry and even Joerger.

Even if MDA is back, the Rockets will try to add a big.

Or Brooklyn. I wish TF would go after pop if that was an option. Pop has always spoke highly of harden. He wouldn’t have to move far. Harden would finally be held accountable by a championship tier coach who he respects. Dream scenario.

I can tell you have inside knowledge to the organization. Their was an article written by some dude in the media( his name escapes me)that said, he heard Westbrook was available for trade earlier in the year.” He said that Tillman won’t be able to afford both harden and Russ. How true is that

Slow down there bud. Too much dip on your chip with that statement. Most coveted head coach in the NBA right now? Definitely not. If he was fired and on the open market right now sure. If every head coach was available right now- we know Kerr, Pop, Nick Nurse, Brad Stevens, Spo, and definitely Rick Carlisle would be more coveted. I'd even put Mike Malone above Dan Tony in the open market. Shiid I might put Steve Clifford above him. He's a good coach but only the most coveted by one team- the Pacers. (Granted other sub par teams like Washington, Sacto, Chicago would covet Dan Tony).

I don't think losing MDA for being a cheap ass is what would stigmatize Tilman with Rockets fans. Let's not act like MDA is a championship winning coach being tossed aside. Now that would be terrible on the part of TF....but that's not the case re. Dan Tony.

And I'm not so sure that's a bad thing if none of the available coaches would have the mental fortitude to continue small ball.

I'm worried about the effect all these sudden rumors about MDA will have on the team.

It's impossible to tune all this **** out.

I hope Indiana fans enjoy the "just keep shooting 3's" strategy. I hope they enjoy hearing "we got the shots we wanted". I hope they aren't hoping for any adjustments.

    Have fun!

Just be grateful that J. B. Bickerstaff isn't available.

Name all the teams that want and/or rumored to want D'Antoni.

Name the teams that want any other FA head coach and add that up.

That is what most coveted means.

Really not that hard. Simple math.

And Nurse is not available. Neither is Malone. "Available", look it up.

Pop has only been linked to Nets if not re-signed with Spurs.

Heck no to Gentry. Atkinson would be alright. Ideal would be the man himself JVG just for old times sake.

Have you watched him after the injury?

    Lost a step.

So MDA can voodoo his explosiveness back with his 69 years?

Why can't he just win a ship?

would love to get atkinson w/ mcmillan as associate head coach running the defense. even just one of them is probably too pricey for tilman though

The more teams that are interested in him the better.

I want a new coach for the Rockets.
