Seriously, a 3-0 advantage in a 7 games series should be a skunk. No team has ever (to my knowledge) come back to win 4 in a row after being down 3. Why even play that 4th game?

Series should already be over and decided.

Now you have Jayson Tatum going off against your team - a player you could have selected instead of Markelle Fultz.

He's averaging 30/13 this series (up to this game) and doing it without a competent backcourt and without the second best player on his team, against one of the better teams in the league, both in personnel and coaching.

Not sure what more he can do.

It has been talked about all year, but he looks out of shape. He was sucking wind before the 4th quarter started.

Of the people that are actually available, there's no great shooter for Embiid to play off of, no good playmakers that can really facilitate. Horford has been a complete dud.

Of the people that are out, you have a complete mismatch in Simmons and a good wing in Harris. But again, they're not available.

Meanwhile, Tatum and Walker are great scorers. Brown and Smart are great defenders. Theis is a pretty solid defender. And Stevens is a great coach.

There's only so much you can do when you're completely outmatched, both on the floor and in coaching.

 

If the Sixers do not trade Ben Simmons this offseason they will likely never be rid of him.

Too many red flags for this guy, the shooting, the injuries, they should fleece some team this offseason while he still has tremendous value.
