Yeah, predators always make sure to check with the parents to see if it's okay to call their kids. Seriously though, those of y'all wondering what it takes to keep upping the ante of crazy for Q Anon type stuff? What it takes is joining any cult and subsuming your identity to another human being, usually a really terrible, selfish human being. I honestly mean no offense to anyone b/c it's freaking tragic and it happens over and over again. If you've ever known someone who joined a cult and lived to tell about it, you know what I mean.
The "Save Our Children" thing really has damaged by politicizing a very real topic. People are actually trafficked more than you might think. Most of the time it's by people you know, and in ways you wouldn't really think at first glance, are leading to that outcome. By turning a real cause into a purely political conspiracy theory to prop up a messiah figure, and politically damage people who are innocent in the process just takes a real cause, and instantly diminishes any hope of actually having a bipartisan response to helping solve the issue. Plus the Messiah Figure that Daschuda and others here worship in this conspiracy theory prophecy is part of the problem. This "Messiah" is literally someone who ordered the separation of children from their parents. That is kidnapping. It might not be quite as bad as selling a distant cousin off as a sex worker in the Dominican Republic, but it's still pretty morally reprehensible & completely diminishes the credibility of people like Daschuda who act as though they care about the cause of "Saving Children" on one hand, and then support Child Separation/kidnapping by the State on he other. The people who want to cry in the streets about Saving Children but want to rip children away from their parents at the same time can go burn in hell.
