He has lost the extra explosion he had off the cross over in 2018 when he was toying with people off the dribble. He just can’t break people down anymore.

Russ is going to do plenty of dumbass stuff when he comes back, but there's definitely no question as to which player is currently better and has more left in the tank.

Whether the new contract was wink-wink agreed to or not when they traded for him, once it was signed, the marked the end of the CP3 as a great player era. Cause no true contender can build a team while paying him $40+ million a year.

Before the bubble, he did seem rejuvenated for a stretch.

He can't toy with quicker guards no more but can still dupe bigs like Ibaka.

There is a reason everyone was excited when we got off of that contract. Unbelievable trade by Morey to get a player like russ. We dont draft anyways.

Apparently it's been an addition by subtraction type of situation. I think a lot of Rockets fans are fine with that right now.

In these 2 games I didn't even see the CP3 from half a year ago.

He wasn't as hungry for some reason.

I doubt he has given up but there was not much fire burning.

It makes OKC more vulnerable which is good to see.

    Feel bad for CP.

For a guy as competitive as he is, it must suck for him for his body to not cooperate with him.

Lol! So? That just means the Rockets will be extra lethal with him. Besides, he's doing more damage cheering than your boy CP3 is actually doing on the court. Facts.

You are getting torched on all sides for some really shitty takes.

Just admit it and move on.

Doubling down is not smart especially for an experienced gambler like yourself.

OKC looking at the $40m hit to their cap and thinking "if we only could ditch Paul and spend that $40m in a better way"

He's doing ok and all, but he's not a $40m player. Especially not when you have guys who play the same spot whom you want to learn to deal with the big game situations.
