    “I deeply regret posting on my facebook page a phrase that I saw and copied from others as a sample of some people’s reactions to Biden’s selection of Senator Harris as his choice for VP. The phrase I posted does not reflect my personal views at all. I should not have been so insensitive to post the statements by others. I sincerely apologize to all of those who have rightfully been offended and I have taken the post down from my FB page. It was a horrible mistake on my part.”

    What he posted was unequivocally stupid and insensitive. But wanted to share that years ago I worked in a similar freelance role in the same circle as Baptist and have met the guy -- not friends or even acquaintances by any means -- but I viewed him as a well respected guy. I mention that to say that this cancel culture outrage and raking over the coals over sharing an image that presumably someone else created feels like too much.

    Again, sharing that post was terrible and he deserves to be reprimanded, but I actually feel bad for him if he's not allowed to work in photography again.

    Also the picture in the op is not him.

    Do you actually think the Rockets and the NBA would still work with him even if there was not a cancel culture?

    What does someone else having created this have to do with him sharing it on facebook?
