No not really. I kind of hated him as a Clipper. I believed we could beat that team. I believe we will beat him now too, but missing westbeast hurts.
I expect Rockets to win in 6, but if there is a split, maybe Russ will be healthy enough to play then.
To those of y’all think we stink so bad that we will not only lose the series to the Thunders but in 5 games, what is the point even posting still. I would be pretty damn depressed right now. At least wait a game or two in the series to come out like this. I have never seen something like this. For crying out loud we have the beard on our side. Defense intensity will be different once the series starts, you cant seriously point to a game where we lost our two iterations ago to say woo the OKC is scary woo we don’t even have Russ. Have some faith, will you and stop spreading the negativity. Yeah, we know.
I see us splitting 2-2 with Russ sitting... and then 2-0 to closeout with Russ back in the lineup in limited minutes... 25 or 30ish... and then the national narrative will be that CP3 coulda beat Harden - were it not for him having a 2nd former MVP to help closeout... CP3 plays the whole series - but gets progressively gimpier as it goes on...
I feel like this is just something fans say casually... we're one of the better teams in the league at defending the 3 and opposing teams shoot 34% against us.... We're ranked 8th.
What Home Court Advantage though? Did they even make a hype video? I rather be 5th so once we win it all, we own the 1st and 2nd place for lowest seed champions.

As long as we hit our 3s at around a 35-40% clip, we should win this series in 5... they don’t have the offense to keep up with us
