Lmao. White house officials view words as an "irreparable harm." Funny.

Those fences they put up must be soft, because the irony is definitely lost on them.

Good on them for scrawling Black Lives Matters there like that. I love it.

I think the "irreparable harm" bridge was crossed well before this by the same Republicans. They're just too self centered and insulated to realize they'd crossed a line of no return.

Those fences are to keep the last remaining White House employees with any dignity from getting out...

Any genuine reform that will improve the situation at a systemic levrl is generational and it starts with the current new generation of black children having access to high quality healthcare and education.

There is no quick fix here.

Not at all..... but then why would you expect that during a terrible economic crisis? Or why would you expect things to change immediately?

Until Trump is out of the office, nobody’s life will have improved.

Getting worn out by news of ongoing protests. Protesting is a call for action. Not really the end goal in of itself.

I hope we get some laws passed before this turns into another gun control "wedge issue" where elected leaders do jack **** and think working is sending pompous tweets chiding civilians who have no real authority to make a difference over those same wedge issues.

I cannot say for certain. But I do think good people in general are more aware of issues and are now more willing to speak up when they see injustice. I also think more "bad cops" may now be behaving differently while the profession is under scrutiny.

It's also important to note that the overwhelming call-to-action for change seems be - VOTE. Which takes time. Which is why, personally, I understand uncivil protest (not looting). A lot of people prefer that black people stop dying RIGHT NOW, instead of.. down the road.

They have been emboldened by the media support in browbeating LE and the riots have been getting progressively worse.
BLM members have been openly preaching to the faithful that looting is "reparations" and watching various videos verifies it.
What a state our nation is in.
