What if we could add a high motor 6'6 rebounder who shoots 36% from deep?

    Green is PJ's backup.

Rockets have guaranteed postseason, Spurs not so much.

    Playoff money is good thing.

Demarre is doing it right way. Things happen, he will get his chance if needed.

Its simple. We play a 9 man rotation. 8 when Gordon is out. He's like the 11th man behind someone called Frazier(who?). Meaning coach thinks he's washed. He didn't even play when Westbrook was out.

Fair but PJ is still averaging 37MPG in the bubble, probably about 34/35MPG minus the OT play.

MIke Dan Tony always plays a short rotation.

I suspect when the playoffs come and Gordon is fully healthy. We play 8 guys again. And these are the 8 guys we play:

    Westbrook
    Harden
    House
    Cov
    Tucker
    Gordon
    Mclemore
    Green

    Rivers odd man out?

If Morey valued offense over defense, we wouldn’t have dealt Capela for Covington. Morey values both offense and defense...

Thanks for breaking this down. I post here to get help understanding deep thoughts like this.

But sarcasm aside, I'm not begging for DC to play. Just wanted to gauge the forum's opinions. Usually people are dying to see the next guy play, whether it's T-Will, KJ, DMo or Hartenstein.

I thought he'd play well here but he's been bad every minute he's been on the court.

Hard pass on Carroll. I am a huge fan of 7 man rotations.

There must be something going on in the locker room. Some kind of agreement to play him full rotation time, or not at all.

When we're healthy, I get him not playing. When Westbrook and Gordon are out it makes no sense.

Hopefully he gets some playing time before the playoffs. We saw Luc & Bruno now we need to see DMC

I’m worried that Carroll is the new Joe Johnson, but I do want to see him grabbing defensive rebounds and playing some defense. If Luc plays well, we won’t see Carroll. He needs to be ready physically and mentally off the bench.

It's very possible he's washed. I just feel we need another veteran we can toss out there for said rebounding and defense. Playing our style, I wish we had a more hockey style mindset with substitutions to keep the foot on the gas.

been said many times before, carroll has looked absolutely terrible and has earned no minutes at this point

minutes aren't just given to guys like him, they're actually earned

Messy handle, hesitant on open shots, and clearly lost a step on D. And CF wonders why he can't crack the rotation
