People are mad Kelly got suspended..I guarentee 95 percent of them didn't even watch the game. They just see a pitcher who threw at our guys. Kelly did everything humanly possible to be suspended. 2 of his pitches about his our guys in the head, not to mention 3 more that almost hit us. Then he stared down Brantley after almost destroying his ankle. Following that up by walking towards Correa after striking him out and starting crap. He tried to get suspended, and did.

Mangers tend to get suspended in situations like this.

I LOVE how the media says Kelley has a chip on his shoulder about being "cheated" out of the 2017 matchup vs the Sox and not a single peep about the Sox' own punishments for 2017 and 2018.

If they keep going at this pace...I could see Beltran just finally being like "Ok, you think the Astros were the only ones that cheated? I have proof that so and so cheated as well." You can only piss on one team for so long with out someone finally getting ticked off about it.

Back to the actual game though. I really hope Javier can show signs of what he's done in the minors. We really need -someone- to emerge as a possible starter. I'm not ready to just completely give up on James, but man he's not doing himself any favors. Valdez actually looked decent, just has to cut down on the walks.

I don't think we have to worry about Correa or Springer signing with the Dodgers.

I thought it was stylistic handwriting by the Astros PR staff... because AJ is that good.

James will likely be fine. Not a 6-inning guy, but he should be able to give quality innings. Valdez needs a 4-leaf clover. He seems to have the walk walk homer inning down, but never gets the homer walk walk inning. The Astros have been relegated to having to fight like other teams fight instead of having great guys everywhere.

He was trying to go all Kupchak-on-Olajuwon, trying to bait a superstar to get suspended at the cost of the scrub.

I still like his stuff, so I'm not giving up Valdez just yet (I'm not saying you are, I'm just saying my point of view), but it would be nice if Javier could come in and actually claim that 5th spot, if Urquidy can come in and pitch like he did in the last part of last season.

Oakland lost again. So at least we aren't losing ground in the division.

IMO, the most definitive proof that it was AJ was the 2018 AS Game (where he led the AL team): That lineup card was in the same style. No way it's anyone else. Also loved the color code (black for righty, red for lefty, blue for switch).

Roberts cause he knew what Douche Bag Kelly was doing and didnt stop it, Hell, probably ordered it.

Chipper Jones - "The Astros are starting a player with one inning of major league experience, take it as you will, but we could see some retaliation tonight."

Talk about having a guy call a game that has 0 freaking clue on what's actually going on with the Astros. If you think we are going to send a guy out there to get thrown out in the first inning with our issues in the bullpen and injuries, you're a freaking moron.

MLB needs a firework. NBA starting, they need the Stros to play the bad guy. MLB needs to stick one to itself.
