I wasn't out there polling people on where they were from when they were tearing off the plywood and smashing windows but yes it did appear that many of those rioting were people from the neighborhood. I'm seeing a lot of my Minnesota friends on social media saying that all the violent people where outside agitators who are white supremacist disguised as Antifa. If that was the case "white supremacy" seems to have spread to people of all races or else they've gotten really good at disguises. From the arrest records it does appear that many of those who were rioting and looting were people from Minnesota and even from this neighborhood. This is something that Minnesotans are going to have to deal with. It's going to be hard because many people here actually do believe that Minnesota is where all the women are strong, all the men are good looking, and all the children are above average.
I honestly can’t believe we have a President who told President Xi he should sit down with the Hong Kong protesters to hammer it out. Who told the Michigan Governor she should strike a deal with armed protesters because they are “good people”. But when Black Live Matters protesters came to his front door he threatened them with weapons and went into a bunker. He is a hypocrite to the highest order. Also, I’ve seen some bad leaders in my life, but I have NEVER seen a leader thank themself. Seriously, the dude wrote “thank you President Trump” in a tweet. Ridiculous.
