A year ago, Hopkins & Clowney were two of the Texans four best players. They are both now gone (along with a ’19 4th round pick) for:

    Barkevious Mingo
    Jacob Martin
    David Johnson
Gareon Conley (via SEA ’19 3rd round pick)
    ’19 2nd round pick
    '20 4th round pick

    AWFUL. Just AWFUL.

The value we are getting in return on these trades is indefensible. I didn’t think anything would ever top the Clowney debacle, but this just takes the cake. I’ll still watch the team, but I can’t allow myself to get invested in them anymore. I just can’t put myself through it any longer.

So do posters have your permission to want him fired now or will you continue defending him?

Texans: We hear you are trading David Johnson, we're interested.
Cardinals: Yeah, we're willing to give him up but you have to take on all of his contract.
Texans: Fine, fine, we'll throw in a late round pick then.
    Cardinals: Oh? Wait, what?
Texans: FINE! Take Hopkins then if that's what you want!
Cardinals: ...What??? You know what? Have our 2nd round pick. Thanks, bye!

Yep. Let's trade JJ to the Chiefs for a 2023 7th rounder.

I'm not seeing any info on a Beckham trade. Is this confirmed?

I'm not feeling too bad about this.

The more BOB pushes this, the closer we get to falling apart, which is the only thing that will save us from the tyranny of asschin. Simply being a disappointment clearly won't be enough.

Bill O'Brien didn't like Hopkin's personality. O'Brien had him in that DJ Swearingen, Duane Brown and JD Clowney group.

Not even the world series loss made me feel the way I'm feeling right now. It's that same feeling after Yao went down against the Lakers.

Only way this makes sense is if you already have a deal in place for Cooper.

Cooper plus Johnson plus a 2nd round pick or Hopkins?
