I don’t know. I like Jimmy Buckets. Like his attitude (generally), like his Tomball roots, like his effort on the court. i know he can have amazing games offensively and is always consistently solid defensively. but I still struggle to see how a team with him as their best player can win a ring.

Everyone should pause for a second and think about what kind of return the Grizzlies have got for taking on and flipping out Iggy’s contract. An absolute feat by that front office.
Not a fan of this trade but in general Riley did a great job, leapfrogged Philly on the contention order without any tanking needed. Stole Butler from right under Cp3 and Harden's noses, then drafted Herro and Nunn. Also has a kickass coach in Spo. Now they just need a great frontcourt and they all set. Knowing Riley though wouldnt be surprised if he is targetting Giannis by selling him and Jimmy B as the new school Lebron and Wade. Yikes.

Well to be fair it is easy to keep generating assets when you are tanking and dont want to ise your capspace. IIRC Cavs got a top 4 pick by absorbing Baron Davis's expiring deal which they used to get Tristan Thompson. I think what Miami did is more impressive tbh as they managed to rebuild on the fly.
