I’m hearing 4 of his kids were believed to be in the helicopter with him via ABC News

 

I have a cousin in the Air Force and he refuses to get on helicopters unless ordered. They crash way more often than planes. Planes also give you the ability to recover from malfunctions, whereas helicopters rarely do.
