It's like he's mentally regressed. I think he was locked into a role within the system up until the shoulder injury and lost his mental edge.

    Our problem is simple:
    1. Our allstar/best player gets players wide open shots, however they are so few because he takes so many shots.
    2. We have to play gimmick Defense because our all star doesn't hustle back on defense when he takes a 29 ft step back 3.
    3. Offensive players blow by him like cars on Beltway 8 with no toll.
    4. The offense is stagnant because the ball is always in his hand and he is dysfunctional if the ball isn't in his hands. Like he only cuts to the basket if he's in the corner.

We can win consistently if we hustle on defense and share the basketball on offense with everyone getting shots. Because in the playoffs we've seen James flame out a game or 2...

He still had some really boneheaded plays last game but finally a positive contribution.

He should be coming off the bench behind a legit 3&D wing player. Play him about 20 mins (a little more if his shot is on).

This. He was very bad last night, with the exception of brief spurts in which he was very good. +/- doesn't tell the whole story since it takes into account the other guys on the court with House, but he was so lost at times that he probably gave up as many points as he helped create.

That said, it was great to see him make a few big plays and drain some crucial 3s. Hopefully this will get his head back in place so he can play some good ball going forward. He's been overthinking absolutely everything he does on the court and when he does that, it kills us.

I’ve never been on that house hype train. You can look at the guy and tell he he has limitations

He’s very inconsistent but he makes a great bench player if we have a legit SF

Meanwhile a supposedly better superstar for the Clippers just got his first career triple double, while our 2 stars have about 1000 between the 2 of them.

Yeah, simple, the problem with the rockets is Harden Harden Harden and Harden. Great analysis.
