All of those trade proposals leave the Warriors in the tax.

Going to be more difficult than you think.

That's because Harden and his basketball witchcraft have brought shame upon the game!

they'd be under the hard cap though so its technically possible if they are in position to contend and want to pay the tax.

if we looked into some of those trades in greater detail there are ways to duck the tax. for example:

    warriors get: covington, ross, diop
    wolves get: russell, looney, augustine
    magic get: teague

warriors and wolves just duck the tax. add whatever picks needed to satisfy all parties. i'd imagine the warriors get a first from the wolves (probably a late lotto pick) and then trade their own future pick (mid-late 20s) to the magic. i'm not saying this is the best trade scenario, but just an example that the warriors can get covington and move teague for a good role player while ducking the tax.

Lol like i said trading away young core for westbrook. They wouldn’t unload AG for an older more expensive star. Thats ridiculous

Have to find a way to get Covington. Rockets need to get longer.

I think ORL agrees with you on AG but not the part about gutting the team due to salary.

And AG is a potential star, WB is a perennial all star in his prime. Top 15 player who plays a position that Magic are in dire need of upgrade.

Orlando is building. You dont build by getting instantly older. PG is one of the easiest positions to fill. Wing Athlete talent is much harder.

By gutting the team I dont mean all the players. I mean impact. Losing aaron gordon and gaining westbrook makes no sense for their team future.

Future is now. ORL going nowhere without another all star.

AG will be wasted with Magic. AG will reach potential on another team, just like Oladipo.
