We should assist and dump him in Miami, get Goran Dragic somehow out of a three way trade with them, then sign love, and get our players' ring sizes measured.
Yeah- bc real rockets fans stop being fans of the team due to a player acquisition they disagree with. Yeah, real rockets fan you are
Westbrook is the worst player in the league. I’ll still root for Harden and all the other guys I love but I can’t stand watching this mf play. You mind your own damn business
I'd rather contract a curable STD. I would rather have Westbrook than an incurable STD though. So that's something.
55% of the ppl here just want to #RunItBack Let's see the result the same time next year. Bet they'll be making up another excuse for this team losing.
You know...if we could keep CP3, Harden, Capella, and Tucker...I’d love to see it just from a crash course perspective. It’ll either work out fantastically or it’ll be a spectacular fail.
I’ve grown to hate the phrase “run it back” so much teams continue to get better while we continue bringing in the same flawed, aging cast, and people act like it’s all good
If he does come to Houston then I can assume Harden has talked to him and signed off on the deal. Harden signing off on it is all the proof I need to know it can work.
Yeah, I'm confused by the all the "absolutely no's". I've been more critical of Westbrook than anyone I know over the past few years, but it's impossible to deny his talent. His biggest issue is that his play style is completely flawed - if he played as an off-ball slashing SG, he'd probably the best player to ever play that role. I've noticed this as a recurring theme when talented players with maybe not the best reputation's get mentioned as acquisitions targets, the response is often "LOL, DON'T WANT THAT INEFFICIENT CHUNKER, HORRIBLE FIT, NO DEFENSE" - (see threads on EG pre-Rockets). News flash, our system hasn't exactly proven to be a flawless championship formula, and coaches that can re-imagine players into their best selves is where you'll find the real steals and bargains.
I was ok with #RunningItBack before the off-season, but watching every single other team get considerably better while we sat on our hands has been incredibly frustrating. Have the Rockets ever had an off-season where they literally didn't bring in a single fresh face that would contribute in some way?
