Now that Presti is selling off even the bolts and nuts of the team, you think he will have already found a serious buyer for Westbrook right?
I mean I think they are holding on to their first round picks to trade for a super star. Take those other trades in a vacuum. They had to give up a first round pick to clear cap space off the book in order to get under the luxury tax. With Ty Lawson, he was coming off of a great year and the Nuggets weren’t just going to give him away. Lou Williams is a hell of a player man. He just won 6th man of the year and has done it multiple times.
They just got under the tax and I wouldn't put it past Presti to turn around and try to build around Russ, Gallo and Adams. They dude did land PG for garbage.
Damn man. I was hoping that Grant was the guy we could pry away from OKC. Spent over an hour on the trade machine last night and thought I had the perfect trade for Grant worked out lol. Denver fans must be thrilled.
tilman probably watching this wondering if his crown is in jeopardy of being snagged. the Salary Dump King thinkin to himself it's true it really aint easy staying at the top!
You'e gonna be angry a lot while Harden Paul and Capela are on this team together. We have pennies to spend now and Morey will not hard cap us for anything less than a star.
My best guess is it is one of the following: The Rockets are attempting to make a deal for a couple players, likely involving Shumpert and while that has been going on, the Rockets are not adding anyone. The second possibility is that the Rockets are not touching anymore of their MLE and so far no one has been willing to sign for the minimum with us.
Highly possible. With that trade exception they can probably take on a couple of Miami’s expiring crumbs.
Man wth all these dang teams getting lot better in the West while we gonna do a run it back the sequel.
Trading away a contending team is a very interesting problem to have. This is fun I want to see how many first the Thunder can get.
