I really hate that taking less “earns fans respect”. I’m happy as hell he did it, but I respected him before this

I mean, if you read it you saw I mentioned that I don’t blame guys for getting as much as they can. It’s not like I didn’t respect him at all before, I just gain a lot of respect when I see that a guy prioritizes winning (especially if he does that with the Rockets).

Great retain. He has played behind CP3 for so long that given the opportunity he can create like a prime Chris Paul yet is bigger and youthful?

Traded by 2 teams and cut by another in less than one season. He is a good catch and all but 1/10 of the league passed on him. One team paid him to go away and they needed a point guard at the time he was dismissed. He is what he is so let’s not turn him into a saint. He knows and plays his role well here. Nothing more or less. Thank you for your service, AR.

he's still a bargain! beverley signed for 40 mill, was offered 50....he's at least as good as some players offered more this off season....He is perfect for our system as a 3rd ball handler, defender, creator, shooter.... :)

He was cut, traded, and passed on not because of lack of talent but more due to the amount of talent in the NBA at the guard position who are younger....rivers is at his ceiling, he is what he is...but he's still pretty good.

Him staying with us on a minimum contact is not that much of a surprise to most is it? His opinion were limited. I like him for us —> it’s the best he can do & the best we can do. WIN / WIN.

I'll admit I didn't like Rivers much as a player on the Clippers and other teams but found new respect with him. I mean he's not a starter quality but can be a solid role player for a championship contender.
